Mission statement:
As part of the body of Christ this Ministry is
committed to praying for guidance as they proclaim the Word:
prepare for a clear understanding of the Word and proclaim the
Word with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lectors read at all Masses and special celebrations during the year

Expectations: Volunteers who proclaim the Scripture serve Mass
on a regular  scheduled basis The purpose of the Lector is to
proclaim the Word of God effectively.  More important is the
willingness to stand before the parishioners and clearly read the
Word.

Meeting Time: St. Ailbe, Lectors are men and women of the
parish who are  willing, to prepare carefully and proclaim the Word
at weekend  Masses.
