Rainbow for God’s Children Leader:  Billie Harrell

Mission statement: Rainbow for God's Children seeks to minister
to the emotional and spiritual needs of children  from St Ailbe
Parish and neighboring communities who have experienced a loss
rainbows accomplishes this by assisting in the heal ling process
pertaining to the loss through death, divorce, separation or other
painful transitions in their families.

Children of all ages grieve. Young people experience a variety
of losses. These include losses of pets, separations caused by
divorce or relocations, losses of friends and relationships, as
well as losses due to illness or death. This Ministry realizes the
importance of helping
children understand that grieving is a
normal response

It is the intention of St Ailbe's Rainbow support group to help
make this normal grieving process more manageable for children.
This is an opportunity for children to communicate with others
who have had similar experiences and learn what helped them
through their toughest moments.

Expectations: Become a trained volunteer to assist participants
through the 12 weekly sessions and two "Celebrate Me" days.

Meeting Time:12 weekly sessions and two "Celebrate Me" days.

Please call Rectory  (773-374-2345)
