DIANE DAY  ARRANGES  COMMUNITY THEATER EVENTS FOR  SENIORS AND ST. AILBE PARISHIONERS

The plays and musicals have been outstanding productions. The ETA Theater is located at. 7558 S. South Chicago Avenue. ETA began in April 1971 and is now recognized as one of Chicago's leading African American cultural performing arts institutions. The building has a 200-seat theater, a library, community room and art gallery, workshop and office space. Over the years of its history, ETA has produced over 150 productions of new works by Black writers: 98% are world premieres.  We have a national treasure smack dab in the middle of our local community!  A ticket is usually around the price of a movie. It is a very rich experience to enjoy live theater
